Fifth-year architecture student Dianyu Yang and recent graduates Rongchuan Zhang (BArch 2016) and Fang Zhou (MLA 2016) are part of a team that placed in the top three entries in the International Design Collaboration for Kenya competition sponsored by UN-Habitat and Kenya’s Ministry of Transport, Housing and Urban Development. They developed their winning proposal, “Urban Nodes: TOD (Transit Oriented Development) Strategy for Nakuru,” in a spring 2016 option studio taught by architecture Lecturer Sungduck Lee. Read more
