Arvid Osterberg

I am currently engaged in research related to the requirements of the American’s with Disability Act Standards for Accessible Design (ADASAD). This includes research on accessibility standards and inclusive design, a review of standards and codes related to building and site safety issues, and designing for the life span.

Additional research interests, including past research, are in the areas of; historic preservation, restoration and rehabilitation methods and procedures, building assessments and post occupancy evaluations, passive solar design, and energy conservation related to building performance.
