Iowa State University was invited to participate in the 2014 American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health (AIA/AAH) STERIS Student Design Charrette held in San Diego, California on November 13-18. ISU received a generous grant from STERIS to send 5 students and one faculty member to participate in the healthcare design charrette. Cameron Campbell, AIA, led the team to design a woman and child birthing center located on the San Diego bay. Eric Badding (M.Arch), Paulina Coursey (ID), Hanwei Fan (M.Arch), Yifeng Guo (M.Arch) and Brandon Persson (B.Arch) were the selected students who participated.
